As usual, we went to Snow Canyon for Easter Saturday with the Simkins Family. It was fun to have everyone together and for the cousins to get to play. My grandma Simkins and grandpa Singleton and Elva were able to come too. The older kids spent most of the time hiking up the rocks and the younger kids had fun playing in the sand. Of course, the food was yummy too.

Grandma and grandpa Simkins put together an egg hunt for the grand kids which was a big hit. They've learned from past years not to put chocolate in the eggs and not to put the eggs out too early so that the birds don't eat them. :)
After the egg hunt, we had the annual Easter Egg Roll. I've long since given up trying to be creative enough to outdo some of the others members in my family in coming up with ideas to keep my egg from breaking on the way down. There have been some pretty creative things done to eggs. I like to keep it simple and I've found that most of the time our plastic shrink-wrapped eggs do just as well if not better than others. This year was no exception.
