Halen's Wax Museum

Halen's school class put on a wax museum the day before Thanksgiving break.  They were supposed to do research on a Utah figure that contributed to Utah history.  Halen chose to do his on his 4th great grandpa, Dr Priddy Meeks.  He was one of the pioneers who crossed the plains from Nauvoo with his family and served as President Brigham Young's personal physician.  Once in Utah, he was called to take his family to Parowan and help settle that area.  He eventually moved to Orderville where he died but he practiced alternative medicine his entire adult life and his wife was a midwife and delivered hundreds of babies in Southern Utah.

We couldn't find a old man wig but Priddy had his hair combed back in a lot of pictures we found so we just combed Halen's hair back for it.  Randy has his grandpa Ogden's bolo tie so we used that too.  He had to memorize a short summary of Priddy's life so when someone came by and pressed the button on his desk, he "came to life" and said his part.  He did really well and hopefully learned some fun things about his ancestors.

Don't move :)
