BYU Football & Basketball

The week before Thanksgiving, BYU had a football & basketball game on the same day so made arrangements to go.  Flights didn't look very good so we went ahead and drove up Friday night and stayed at the cabin for the weekend.  Grandma Ogden knew Mia wouldn't really want to go to either game so she offered to keep her at the cabin while the rest of us went down to Provo.  The football team played UMass and won pretty easily.
It was a little chilly but not too bad
The boys wanted to stay close to the field and watch the team run on
We went shopping at the BYU bookstore in between games then drove up to AF to eat dinner at Whistle Wok which is one of our favorite places ever.
Alex didn't really want his pic taken with Cosmo
The basketball team played Coastal Carolina in their game and again, won pretty easily but the boys just love going to games so they didn't care.

Mia had fun with grandma all day but was happy to see us when we got back to the cabin.  Grandpa had asked her if she wanted to come to the basketball game with him since he did stats for it but she was fine staying with grandma.

We went to church in Midway the next day.  Elder Jeffery R Holland is in Randy's parents ward up there and will come when he's not another assignment.  He was there that day and they always give him a few minutes to say a few words at the end of the meeting.  We've had the privilege to hear him there several times now and it never gets old.  He talked about the importance of repentance "until we are safely dead". :)  I love that man!  We went and shook his hand after the meeting...along with everyone else...and he told the boys that they looked like future missionaries.

We went back to the cabin for a quick lunch before packing up and heading home.  It was a fun weekend.
