Halloween

I think I say it every year but carving pumpkins aren't my favorite part of Halloween.  Luckily Randy doesn't mind doing it and is willing to help the kids every year.  I help out, but he does all the dirty work...I love him! :)
Halen cleaning his out & dad using his power tools to carve
Mia opted to paint her pumpkin instead of carve it
Silly daddy
Alex really getting into his
Their final products...nothing fancy but it works
Halloween was on a Monday this year and all the kids were excited about dressing up for their school parties but Mia couldn't wait.  She knew she wanted to be Elsa since last Halloween and we made sure that happened.  She was a beautiful Elsa.

Marsha was nice enough to come over to do her hair before school
Grandpa Ogden's neighbor let us borrow his Dan Marino
football jersey & helmet for Alex
Even though Halen was a Rockies player last year,
he was content being one again
I picked up the kids after school and hurried over to SkyWest so they could go fill up their trick-or-treat bags.  We always leave there with WAY too much candy.
Elsa waiting to pick up her brothers from school
Checking out what they got when they got back to dad's desk
After SkyWest, we went over to Josie's house to meet up with grandma & grandpa Simkins and cousins to go trick-or-treat around Josie's neighborhood.  Grandpa Singleton and Elva came over for a while too so they could give the kids some candy too.

All the grandkids...minus Hudson & Harper
Ready to go get more candy
Off they go...
Just look at all that candy!!!
We weighed each of the kids bags and they were all around 5 pounds each...HoLy CoW!  It doesn't take very many days for Alex & Mia to eat all their candy but Halen still has candy from every holiday for the last 2 years.  He's not a big candy eater anyway, but it's kind of turned into a game to see how much he can stash away.
