My aunt Andrea got married to her long-time fiance up by Zion's on June 11th. She had been planning this day for a long time and put a ton of work into it. She wanted everything to be very laid back and casual which we were fine with but her theme was tie-dye everything which we weren't too sure about. :) But it turned out just how she imagined so I'm glad she was happy with it.
She hosted a rehearsal BBQ the night before so that the kids would all know what they were supposed to do. She wanted them to walk down the aisle ahead of her then she wanted to do the "Chicken Dance" at the "party" afterward. :) My boys weren't too sure about the dancing part but Mia was excited for it.

On the day of the wedding, we were a little worried about getting rained out but it rained in the morning then moved out and it turned out to be a nice afternoon. The kids were ready to go and Anni was beaming the entire time...she was SO excited.

At the party afterward, we had a yummy lunch that Anni made herself and visited with everyone for a while while we waited for the dancing to start. There was a fun candy table which we had to work to keep the kids away from the whole time and of course they wanted the colorful "drinks" with the cute little umbrellas in them that REALLY weren't appropriate for them (or any of Anni's side of the family) to have. :)
Finally the dancing started and the kids were excited to show off their chicken dancing skills. Halen and Alex were a little timid at first but the finally got in there.

It was a fun day and fun to see Andrea so happy. I hope this one lasts and that she stays this happy. Love you Anni!
