My mom and dad went camping up in Pine Valley one more time before school starts so Marsha and I rode up with our kids to spend the day with them. When we had gone to Pine Valley earlier in the summer, it was cold and rainy so the kids didn't want to get in the creek so we had promised them we'd go back again. I just can't believe how fast the summer went and we found ourselves the week before school starts and we hadn't made it back. I'm just glad we were able to make it happen.
The kids ran around and played for a while then after lunch they changed into their water clothes and we headed for the creek. The can spend hours there...it's great entertainment.

After a few hours at the creek, we went back to camp and started dinner and took a walk while it was cooking then came back and had some yummy dutch oven potatoes and chicken. Even though the kids didn't want to, we had to load up and head for home eventually. It was a fun day though.
