Halen's been so excited to start playing basketball. The city doesn't start until 2nd grade so this was Halen's first time playing. Randy volunteered to coach and he was even excited to to take on the challenge...and challenge it was. This was the first time most of the boys had played basketball and non of them really knew the rules. Practices were more of a play session and it got kind of frustrating for Randy to not have them listen or act like they cared. But he tried and Halen had fun so I guess that's all that matters.
We were the team that everyone wanted to play because we lost every game except our last one. It's too bad we couldn't have played that team first just to give them a little more confidence but oh well. We ended the season on a good game and the boys were ecstatic to win.

Hopefully next year will be a little better now that the boys have a little better idea of what they're doing. We just hope the boys had a good experience and had fun.

Oh wow! I could just say diddo to your whole post except for the fact that we lost every single game!!!! It was awful and Trevor got so frustrated, but the kids had fun so we have to focus on that right?????? :)
