We spent Christmas Eve in Enterprise with all the family. Even though there's lots of little babies and it's chaotic, it's fun to get together. Grandma had a gingerbread village that the kids decorated first. I'm sad I didn't get more pics but I was helping keep the houses together and didn't get my camera out much.

My parents had reserved the gym at the church so after a little lunch we all went over there to let the kids run around for a while and play some games. My mom and Scott had come up with a bunch of Minute to Win It games which were fun for everyone.

After playing all the games and eating way too many treats, we went back to the house for dinner. We invited my grandma Simkins and my grandpa Singleton and Elva over too so we had a houseful. After a yummy dinner we had the kids act our the nativity while grandpa read Luke 2. We needed a bigger stage for the actors because there wasn't much room for them to move around but I think they got the idea.

We headed for home about 8:00 to get ready for Santa to come to our house. After the kids were in their jammies dad read them 'Twas the Night Before Christmas then we set out treats for Santa and put them in bed. We carried Alex's mattress into Halen's room so they could have a little sleepover which they thought was pretty fun. I knew they'd probably stay awake late because they were so excited but Alex actually fell asleep quite fast and Halen stayed awake til 2:00. I think Santa was wondering if he'd ever get to come to our house. Ü
