Mia's 5th Birthday

Mia was more than excited for her birthday to finally come.  She just couldn't wait til "May last" (her bday is on May 31).  She couldn't decide what kind of party she wanted to have but she finally settled on a dress up princess/super hero party.  She invited all the kids from her primary class and her two boy cousins just to kind of even things out a little bit. :)

Mia had a blast at her friend party that afternoon.  After all her friends went home, we cleaned up to get ready for her family party later that night.  In the meantime, Dixie Power was having their annual meeting at the Dixie Center where they have a dinner and activities for the kids so we went there for dinner.  The kids played on the bounce houses and got some face paint before going home for the party.  Mia thought it was all for her birthday so she thinks it's going to happen every year. :)

Once all the family got to our house, the kids played Kiss the Frog and just hung out for a while before opening presents.  She got a lot of fun toys...she's definitely spoiled...and loved!

I'm absolutely in love with this little girl of mine.  She's the perfect addition to our family even though we aren't sure where her personality comes from. :)  We sure do love you Mia!  You keep life interesting and fun.  I just wish I could keep you from growing up any more.  Time needs to slow down!
