Decorating Graves

A few days after Memorial Day, were on the way up north to a family reunion and decided to take a detour through Richfield & Mona to put some flowers on Randy's grandparents graves.  This was the first time I had been to Richfield with Randy so it was the first time I got to see where his dad grew up and to go to the cemetery.  Randy wasn't kidding when he said their were a lot of Ogden's from Richfield.  Almost every other headstone there had 'Ogden' on it.  It was nice to be there and see where Randy's grandparents, great-grandparents and cousin were buried.  The headstones were beautiful.
Randy's grandma & grandpa Ogden
Randy's great-uncle Lincoln who was killed in WWII
Randy's grandma & grandpa Stanley at the Mona Cemetery
It only us a little over an hour to make the detour and the kids were troopers sitting the car for the extra time.  Family history is so important and the boys are getting old enough to start learning some of it.  It was nice to show the kids a part of their heritage.
