Rosenbruch Animal Museum

Halen didn't have school last week because they were doing Kindergarten testing so we thought we would doing something fun with the kids.  The plan was to go to San Diego to go to the zoo but flights just didn't work out for us.  We looked at going to other places but with Mother's Day being that Sunday, it was hard to get anywhere real easily.  So we opted to stay in town instead and try going another time.

After we went to Halen's baseball game that Saturday, we took the kids to the Rosenbruch Animal Museum here in town.  I took Halen there with some cousins when he was a year old but he obviously didn't remember it.

The boys thought it was pretty fun to get to use the binoculars that were provided for them.  They loved seeing all the exotic animals that you don't get to see at the zoo.  They were sad we didn't go to San Diego but hopefully we'll get there soon.  It's actually a good thing we didn't end up going to San Diego because by the time we left the museum I could tell I was coming down with the flu which wasn't fun to have over Mother's Day. :(

Cody loves going to that place, but it freaks Shelby out so maybe next time we can hook up with you so that we can have some friends to go with!
