Deer Season 2011

Deer season this year was a little different. Other than the year Alex was born, this was the first time I missed opening day. The plan was that Randy & I were going to go on an international trip somewhere so we wouldn't be here, but the way things worked out, that didn't happen. So we stayed up until 3am Thursday night trying to put a trip to Washington DC together but things weren't working for that either. So at the last minute, we decided to go to Idaho Falls and go to the temple there and in Rexburg. Well we made it to SLC, but the plane to Idaho Falls was delayed to the point that we were going to miss the temple session so we decided not to go. We ended up renting a car, going to dinner and driving to Randy's parents cabin in Midway to stay the night then went to the BYU game on Saturday. It wasn't how we hoped the weekend would go but it was fun to have a little date night.

We got home Saturday night then went to Enterprise Sunday morning to go to church and go to up to deer camp. We hung out and visited for a while and had dinner. After dinner, Randy came back home with Scott & Josie and I stayed with the boys to camp with my parents. They loved sleeping in the trailer and playing outside. Of course they couldn't get enough of riding the 4 wheeler.
