Mini Indy

Mini Indy is one of the events my boys look forward to all year.  It's just like another holiday to them.  I guess it kind of is because they get to miss school to come watch.  It's an event that SkyWest hosts every year to raise money for United Way and airline vendors around the world come to participate in the race.  The boys love to pick out a car in each racing division and cheer for that car through the whole race.  This year all the cars they were cheering for made it into the championship race but they didn't win that one.  The weather actually cooperated well too.  It was a little chilly in the morning then turned warm in the afternoon but we've had some years that it was freezing cold or scorching hot so it was nice to have a little of both.

Randy enjoys being a pit crew official every year
This year they had an army tank the kids could get in and look through
