This years deer season was a little different. After a LOT of discussion, Luke, Brent & my parents decided to break tradition and go to the Singleton camp for the whole hunt instead of going with the Simkins/Randall group for the first night. A big part of that decision was because of transportation for getting everyone to camp and since we could all drive our own vehicles to the Singleton camp, it was easier to go there. Another reason was because my grandma Singleton's cancer has spread and this will most likely be her last deer season so we wanted to all be there with her. My aunt Sharon and uncle Mark came from Colorado Springs the week before and all my mom's siblings and her parents were able to spend time together camping and four wheeling.
We got up to camp Friday evening just in time for a yummy dinner and visiting around the campfire. The kids had fun roasting marshmallows and playing in the dirt.

We got back to camp Saturday morning to have breakfast with those who didn't go out hunting. We sat and visited while the kids played and went on rock hunts.

Saturday afternoon, Randy, Scott, the kids & I, went to my parents house so the guys could watch the BYU football game and the kids could play on the trampoline for a while. This is what they looked like riding back to town...so dirty.

So jealous you got to go to camp. It is something that I really miss. My family are party poopers and won't do it anymore! Glad you got to make that memory with your kids!
