Alex's 4th Birthday

Our "little" Alex turned 4 this year!  I say "little" because he's really so big.  At his doctor appointment, his weight came in at 81% and his height at 100%.  He's grown so much that he's started wearing the pants Halen wore earlier in the year which are size 5T.  He thinks that because he's 4 he has to wear 4T clothes so it's hard to convince him otherwise. Ü

 

To celebrate Alex's birthday, he chose to go to Golden Corral for his birthday dinner the night before, then on his actual birthday, Grandma & Grandpa Ogden came over for cupcakes and ice cream and to watch him open presents.  Grandma & Grandpa Simkins were out camping at deer camp with the Singleton family so they weren't able to make it.  We decided to celebrate with them on Saturday up at deer camp with Grandma Simkins on her birthday too.

Alex was so funny because he thought that since we had 2 different parties on 2 different days, that he should be 5.  He turned 4 on the first birthday party and turned 5 on the second birthday party. Ü  We finally convinced him that he's only 4 and just got to celebrate for a whole week.  Happy birthday anyway bud, we love you!
