Seeing Santa

Halen & Alex had a couple chances this year to tell Santa want they wanted for Christmas but they had to wait for Santa to come to the Boulevard to tell him then for some reason. We had our ward Christmas party the first of the month and the minute Santa showed up, Halen couldn't get out of there fast enough. Then we were in line to see Santa at the end of the Polar Express ride at Sea World but Halen begged for us to leave so he could see the Boulevard Santa. I think part of the reason he wanted to wait is because he didn't know what to ask for. It took him until the week before Christmas to decide what he he wanted. Luckily he decided on a couple Wii games and some cars instead of asking for something that was hard to find. Ü

So the Saturday before Christmas, even though Halen hadn't been feeling good for a couple days, we were waiting at the Boulevard for Santa to come. There was only a slight hesitation on Halen's part but he went and sat on his lap. Alex was a little more nervous and was even a little teary-eyed but since Halen was so brave, he decided he could do it to. He asked for basketballs and cars. We definitely have a couple of boys. Ü
