For Christmas this year, we started out in Enterprise. We went up Thursday and hung out with my family. On Friday, the
fam all went to the church and a friendly game of volleyball followed by an even friendlier game of lightning (I won one round by the way Ü). It was a lot of fun. Then we had dinner at my mom's house with all of us plus my grandparents. Then we headed over to my grandma & grandpa Singleton's to play games, sing songs and eat lots of good food.
This year we attempted to act out Christ's birth with the kids like we did when we were younger. We only had 4 kids to work with but we did what we could.
Halen wanted to be a shepherd so that made Alex Joseph and Marsha's little girl,
Cassidy, was Mary. My cousin Keri's little baby, Chloe, was an angel. It was funny because Mary didn't want to carry the baby Jesus doll so Joseph carried him and when it came time to put him in the manger, he basically dropped him in the box. I think Mary was a little more gentle. Ü I didn't have my camera at the time so I'm hoping someone who took pictures will share with me.
Right about 9:00,
Halen decided he was tired and that he better go to bed so Santa could come so we hurried to grandma's to put the boys to bed. I don't think they've ever fallen asleep so fast. Ü We got up Christmas morning at 7:30 to see if Santa made it and sure
enough, he did!

After unwrapping all our gifts at grandma & grandpa
Simkins', we packed everything up and headed to Midway to see grandma & grandpa Ogden. We drove this time since we never know what flights are going to be like on holidays. The boys did really good on the drive since the had lots of new toys to play with. We got to Midway after dark and it's always fun to have to load up everything and snowmobile into the cabin. Everyone was waiting for us to eat so we ate a late dinner then let the kids dive into their other presents.
Halen was so excited to get his Buzz Lightyear

We had a really good Christmas and got pretty spoiled. Randy & I each got
ipod touches that we've had fun playing with. We must have been good this year. Ü But it really was nice to spend time with family and take time to think about Christ and all the blessings that we have.

Looks like Christmas was so much fun! Don't you just love the innocence and magic those little ones possess and sometime rub off on us? Merry Christmas!
