We dropped the boys off with Randy's parents Friday morning then headed to the airport. After a quick layover in SLC we landed in Sacramento just after noon. We got something to eat then drove the 45 minutes to Fairfield to go tour the Jelly Belly factory. I kind-of wish we would have had the boys with us to see it because it was pretty cool but maybe another time. We weren't allowed to take pics inside the actual factory but the process of making a jelly bean is pretty amazing.

After the Jelly Belly tour, we drove back to Sacramento and checked into our hotel. We just took it easy the rest of the night and drove around a little bit and went out to eat. Saturday morning we got up and got ready to go to the temple. It was a great way to start the day. The temple was of course beautiful and reminded me of a small version of the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. 
After the temple we decided to drive into downtown and see the sights. We went to Sutter's Fort first then to the Old Downtown shopping area. I love historical sites so it was all pretty interesting for me. Of course being 6 months pregnant made me a little slower than normal but it was fun to see the sites.John Sutter's private room

Our flight Sunday wasn't until 1:00 so we weren't rushed to get ready and checked out of the hotel. Most of our vacations are pretty much always on the go without much relaxation time so this trip was nice to slow down a little. We were back home by 6:00 and got to spend some time with the kids so we had a good weekend.
