For our family reunion this year with my brothers & sisters, we were all able to go up to Midway and spend a few nights at Randy's parents cabin. My in-laws were nice enough to let us invade their place for a few days and we had a great time. We all headed up after work on Thursday night and got to the cabin about 11 pm. We got up Friday morning and had a yummy breakfast then got ready to go down to Provo to play at Seven Peaks water park.

Halen & Alex were so excited when we told them we were going to a water park but they had a slightly smalled water park in mind (it's a little different from the water park at the Tabernacle Ü). They were a little overwhelmed by the size of the place and it took a little coaxing to get them in the water...
Halen a little more than Alex. Once Alex realized how fun it was we couldn't keep him out. I pretty much had to drag
Halen in and after several hours he finally went down a kiddie slide a couple times. He got more and more brave the longer we were there and had fun splashing around the kiddie pool.
Randy & I left the boys with my parents to play while we went on some slides together. Little did we know, that Randy's sister-in-law and her kids were all at the park too and were swimming right by
Halen & Alex most of the afternoon. It wasn't until our nephew,
Braydon, who's 9 yrs old, spotted Randy and came to talk to him. Once we put it all together, we found out that my mom and Jolene had been sitting by each other in the pool and had noticed each other but didn't think anything of it. Jolene said she even saw
Halen wearing his
BYU hat but didn't recognize him. Kind-of funny.

On Saturday, we got up and had breakfast then the girls all drove into Park City to do a little shopping at the outlets. The guys stayed at the cabin and played horseshoes and Risk until we got back. After we had dinner we celebrated
Cassidy's 3rd birthday with a cute Elmo cake and presents. Then we put the kids to bed & stayed up and played Rook and visited.

Sunday morning we all went to church down in town. Elder Jeffery R. Holland lives in the ward that Randy's parents attend but it doesn't meet until 1 and we wanted to go a little earlier so we went to the 11:00 instead. After church we went back and packed up and cleaned up the cabin and all headed home. It was so much fun to spend time all together as a family. It's the last time we'll all be together for a while since Ben & Marsha went back to Syracuse, NY last week to start year 2 of law school. A big THANK YOU to Randy's parents for allowing us to stay at their cabin. We had a fabulous time!
