A couple weeks ago, we decided to go visit Randy's brother in Orlando and take the kids to DisneyWorld. It just happened to be over Halen's 3rd birthday so he got to spend his birthday in the happiest place on earth. ☺ He got a pin that he wore on his shirt that said it was his birthday so everyone was telling him Happy Birthday. Mickey even gave him birthday nose kiss which Halen thought was pretty fun. I think the highlight for him was meeting some of the characters like Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. He said his favorite ride was the tea cups and I think he and Alex both liked It's A Small World.
It was so much fun to go spend a few days in Florida. Randy & I went to Orlando for our honeymoon and always said it would be fun to bring our kids there. It was a really laid back trip compared to other places we've gone but it was nice to just visit with family and let our kids play with each other. Halen's cousin out there is 1 day younger and they play so well together. I wish they lived closer...maybe someday.
We got there Thursday afternoon and just hung out that night then the guys went golfing on Friday while us girls took the kids shopping and to lunch and the kids had fun playing in the pool at the house. Saturday was our fun day at the Magic Kingdom and it wasn't near enough time to do everything we wanted. The lines for the rides weren't too bad, but stopping to meet the characters took time and that's what Halen wanted to do the most (so it was worth it). We'll just have to go back some time. On Sunday, we went to church and walked around the temple (Ryan & Rochele live just up the street) and played cards then we headed home on Monday after going to lunch with them. Like I said, it was a more relaxing trip than most and we had a really good time. Thanks to Ryan & Rochele for being such great hosts. We hope to see you again soon.

Thanks for the pictures! They looked like you had so much fun, but who wouldn't at the happiest place on earth! I am jealous!
