Anyway, our August & September have been crazy but we've got a lot done and been able to get some fun family trips in. Actually, I took off with my mom and sisters for a few days in August to go to California to the Price Is Right. My little sister didn't get to go the last time we went so we promised to take her when she was old enough. She was actually old enough last year but since me and my other sister were pregnant, it didn't work so well. But we had fun going shopping, playing at Knott's Berry Farm, hitting the beach, and going to a taping of TPIR...Drew Carey is WAY better than Bob Barker was. Watch for us on November 6th...we don't get called up or anything but you can see us in our bright red shirts in the audience.
Waiting in line for TPIR at 5AM!
We moved most of our things and spent our first night in our new home on August 20. Thanks to everyone who came and helped us move...it was TONS of help. Then Randy had his birthday on August 30, but since it fell on a Sunday we didn't do too much. I did take him to dinner the next night I guess. Ü But he really wanted to take the kids to the zoo so we took them up to Hogle Zoo over the Labor Day weekend. It had been raining that morning before we got there but it stopped and was a great day...not too hot. The boys both LOVED it even though they didn't get to see a lion...what kind of zoo doesn't have a lion?!?! Little Alex tried so hard to stay away but finally gave in when we stopped for lunch. Halen was a little nervous at first to see animals that he'd only read about or seen on TV but got over that real quick.

Halen looks so teeny there
Takin' a ride on the train
