Christmas at Disney World

Last February when we went to Orlando we bought year passes to Sea World and we decided we wanted to go see it and Disney World at Christmas time. We left Thursday afternoon and got to Randy's brother's house about midnight. We stopped just long enough to say "Hi" then headed to bed.

We got up early to meet a family friend (Martha) at Epcot at 8:30. Martha works at Disney and is able to get a couple people into the park on her employee pass. She's helped both of Randy's brother and sister and us get into the park whenever we've gone out. She's an amazing lady and we thank her SO much for all of her help. Because we had been there before and we got into the park for free, we didn't feel so rushed trying to get everything in. Martha got us in at the Epcot entrance and we trained and ferried over to the Magic Kingdom.

They were just doing the parade when we got inside the park so we just caught a quick glimpse of Mickey and Donald.
We missed a few rides last time so we headed to Tomorrowland first. The Toy Story ride ended up being one of Halen's favorite. Buzz was waiting outside so we got in line to meet him. The boys were way excited to see him until it was almost our turn then Halen started saying he didn't want to see him any more. Once we got up to him though he was ok. He's just such a shy kid. Ü

Of course we had to get a carousel ride in

The flowers were everywhere and were so beautiful
We didn't have time to wait in the line to meet Woody
and Jessie but we did get a quick picture
The Christmas tree lit up
Cinderella's castle all decked out
After the Magic Kingdom closed, we bused over to Hollywood Studio's to check out the lights there. They have a street set up that has millions of lights covering the buildings. The lights were all used by the Ozzy Osbourne family and donated to Hollywood Studio's. They dance to music and it's pretty amazing.
It was a little chilly but the boys were having fun
It's a dark picture but I thought it was a cute

We got back to Ryan & Rochele's about 11:30 so their kids were all in bed. We felt bad that we had been there for 24 hours and still hadn't seen them but we got to see them a little more over the next couple of days. We were all pretty worn out and the kids went to bed without any arguing. Ü It was a good day!
