Yesterday we got to go to a Superbowl party at my brother and sister-in-law's house in Cedar City. All of my brothers and sisters and my parents were there and we had such a great time. I'll admit that the girls didn't do a whole lot of football watching but we had fun playing cards, eating and visiting. The outcome of the game didn't go the way the guys had hoped but they made up for it by eating and playing golf on the Nintendo.
Halen had a blast playing with Luke's dog, Shelby. He'd throw balls or stuffed animals down the stairs and Shelby would run down and bring them back to him. Halen thought that was the funniest thing and laughed and giggled the whole time. I think Shelby was pretty worn out by the time we left. Ü Since we'll never own a dog, Halen needs to get his 'animal-fix' somehow and it's good for him to have that interaction with them.
Thanks to Luke and Bobbi for hosting the party and letting us invade their house. We'll have to do it again sometime. Maybe we'll even let Whittney start in the middle of the group while we're playing cards so she has a better chance of not staying "Scum" the whole game. Ü
